Dialsmith

This past weekend, Dialsmith was the presenting sponsor for the inaugural PDXDrones Challenge–a drone obstacle course competition featuring eight pilots from the PDXDrones community and drones of all shapes and sizes. The competition was scored by a panel of expert judges using Dialsmith’s ISX Scoring technology. The judges rated competitors based off of how each was able to navigate his drone through the series of challenges. Competitors received a score for each of the four challenges, which were tallied for an overall final score.

Using the ISX Scoring system, Dialsmith was able to collect the judges’ scores and display them in real-time, even faster than the fastest of our flying competitors.

The event was part of a full weekend of activities put on by TechFestNW. The event drew a large and enthusiastic crowd of onlookers to the courtyard in front of the Oregon Museum of Science & Industry (OMSI). Want to see more? Here’s some local news coverage of the event.
