The political season of 2018 is in full swing and tensions were running high at the Texas Gubernatorial Debate this evening.

For tonight’s face-off, Nexstar was capturing real-time feedback with our Perception Analyzer dials in the hands of a focus group. Respondents supplied moment-to-moment feedback on the debate performances.

One of the high points of the evening came when Democratic challenger, Lupe Valdez, discussed her stance on medical marijuana. All 3 groups liked what they were hearing.

The dial feedback from the focus group was less favorable for incumbent Governor Greg Abbott.
